Do not end your sentences on a higher pitch

While speaking, don’t end your sentences on a higher pitch

Here are a few reasons why using “uptalk” is not a good idea.

  1. Reduces authority
  2. Signals uncertainty
  3. Causes miscommunication

Reasons why one might use higher pitch at the end of a sentence:

  1. The speaker wants to be humble

You have to end your sentences with conviction. If you want to project confidence and belief in what you are saying, always end your sentences on a lower pitch.

  1. We are the best at what we do. vs We are the best at what we do?

Make sure you end all your sentences in lower pitch.
